NWS produces a variety of fabrics used in and for medical applications. Most notably, are fabrics used for wound care and dressings. Typically designed for fluid absorption, these fabrics are used in a variety of weights and fiber blends. The most common fibers used are polyester, viscose and polypropylene. A variety of blends are also commonly used. Only fibers with FDA grades are used and produced in weights from 70 gsm and up.

In addition, many fabrics are used for the distribution of some kind of fluid. These wet packaged products can deliver simple cleaning solutions as well as regulated drugs. Fluid holding capacity of greater than 1300% is available.
