Nonwovens Solutions LLC announces appointment of Tom Marth as Vice
President of Sales!
Nonwovens Solutions LLC, a leading supplier of needlepunch nonwovens to
the medical, filtration and wipes markets, announces the appointment of
Tom Marth as Vice President Sales, and newest Member of NWS ownership.
Tom brings more than twenty five years of nonwoven sales experience to
the team. Most recently, Tom served as Senior Sales Manager for Ahlstrom
in their Home and Personal Care division selling a wide variety of
nonwovens. Tom's work experience aslo includes being a founding member
and owner of Green Bay Nonwovens. Previously Tom held sales management
positions with Fort Howard, Hosposable Products and Stearns Technical
Textiles.
Nowwovens Solutions is adding a new 176" width needlepunch line at its
facility in Ingleside, Illinois. The line is expected to be operational

September 2011 - Nonwoven Solutions is proud to announce the commissioning of a brand new state-of-the-art nonwoven production line capable of widths up to 168”. Fabric weights from 2 oz/sy up to 24 oz/sy are possible. Orders for equipment were placed in February of 2011 and the line will be in full production by mid-December of 2011. Both the card and opening & blending portions are being specified to accommodate and even greater percentage of very fine denier fibers. Additional needling capacity is now in place to increase operational efficiencies. As with previous installations, this line will have the ability to make up to 22 individual slit widths in a single doff. New to this line will be fully automated roll doffing-transfer-wrapping in order to provide the cleanest possible materials for very sensitive end user applications in fields such as wound care, personal care and food processing.
